After 4 years of ownership, sadly it is time to part with my immaculate 2006 BMW Z4 ///M Roadster.

In rare Monaco Blue, with Black leather interior and Black Carbon leather trim, it has only done 39,100 miles. It comes with an unused hardtop, a BMW main dealer service history, a number of extras, and even a choice of wheels!

Full details and many photographs are available at http://katz.me.uk/

£17,450.

Your gonna struggle at that price

There's a similar car ( without the hardtop ) on here and it price starts with a 15...and it has nearly 10k less miles on it.

May want to readjust your expectations, coupes are going for this Money not roadsters

Either way lovely car

Interesting sale post now with a virtual copy in coupe form listed earlier today , great looking cars the both of them & a tough decision for any prospective buyer 8)

OK - I'm about to spend some money advertising this (PistonHeads? AutoTrader? eBay?).

Appreciate that pricing is always a thorny issue - especially on internet forums :) - but what price would you expect to see this at (taking into account low mileage / full BMW service history + recent service / unused hardtop / immaculate condition / rare colour)?

As others have pointed out the sellers market is tough right now. I think your latest reduction is about right, but be prepared to wait. It's a lovely motor

Is the service correct as you have written it, looks like an Inspection 1 is missing at 19,161 miles?

The wheels don't look great in the close up pics and the brakes don't look like they have a whole lot of life left, but that might just be the pics.

'tis a nice looking car though.

Thanks for the comments.

The service history is as complete as I am aware of. It was sold by Douglas Park BMW as an AUC at 26k miles, so I assume that they must have been happy with the service history at that point. They certainly did a fair amount of work as part of the AUC check (Electric window regulators replaced (both) / Air conditioning condenser replaced / High pressure washer jet / Rear disks and pads replaced / Reversing light switch / Bulb / Inspect A/C / O/S wing mirror glass had fallen out - replaced / Cigarette lighter fuse), so I can't imagine that they wouldn't have also serviced it if it had been needed.

The black wheels are actually pretty good - they probably don't show that well in the photographs. There may be a few minor marks, but nothing that would need work. The silver wheels aren't quite as good (as I've said), and could possibly do with a refurb at some point, but they are far from terrible.

There were no comments or advisories regarding the brakes when I had the car serviced and MoT'd recently. There may be some slight surface corrosion on the disks, but that's down to lack of use rather than anything else. I'm sure that a quick blast would have them looking pristine again :) .

Potential downside to buying lower miles (30-40k ) discs may never have been changed & ins 2 could be due
Buyer as with any car has to be on the case but whatever the ins & outs the car is certainly a nice example in a pretty rare finish
Pricewise OP you would need a fair wind to get the ask in what has been a poor season for Zs & with the general peak for roadys behind us now
Its all about how long you can sit on it or how low you are prepared to go  this time next year it could be worth all if not more of your ask but right now there seems more cars than buyers

Rear disks and pads were replaced 12,000 miles ago. Oil Service was just done (less than 10 miles ago!), and the previous service was an Inspection II done 2 years / 2,000 miles ago (all BMW main dealer), so the next service will be an Inspection I in 2 years time.

Which is why I asked the question as to where people saw the price at present. I don't have to sell it (and I have 2 other cars, so it could just sit in the garage for another year), but having decided to sell it would be nice to do so - especially as my wife wants that garage for a 911 :)

I'm realistic enough to understand that a car will only sell at a price that both buyer and seller are happy with, so understanding what is a realistic price for my (immaculate / low mileage / hardtop) car would help me to decide whether to sell it or keep it.

I wasn't being specific to your car RE the discs & ins2 , merely the fact that many buyers seek out low miles , pay top money then land themselves another £2k within 10,000 miles :?

The actual current market value i'm sure you know will determine itself , my own thoughts are whilst it may sting a little flog the hardtop separately & drop the ask under £15k , if you do get interest hold fast & aim for as close to £15k as poss , in a world of blacks , greys & silvers MB is a wonderful colour

I was thinking more had you written it down incorrectly from the service book, as it has two oil services in a row rather than an inspection 1.

Not to labour the point but might be important to someone.

Further reduction to £15,750 with hardtop (or £14,995 without hardtop) which I think makes it very competitive.

It's in immaculate condition, a great colour, and comes with an unused hardtop (allowing a new owner to use it all year round), a BMW main dealer service history (it has just been serviced and MoT'd by Partridge Hampshire BMW, so the next service won't be needed for 2 years or 15,000 miles), a number of extras, and a choice of black or silver wheels.
