Z4 M Multifuncton Steering wheel

I have had a quote from Joe at Sopers Licnon to supply and fit a new Z4 M Multifuncton Steering wheel for.....£435, is that a lot?
Fitting price is £115 and before any one remind's me on the posts on how to do it, i just don't have the time.

Yes, Wheel and installation. I have just droped Joe an email refrencing the forum to see if he will come down in price.
 
give him a call,he is a busy boy and takes a while to reply to his emails (I know as I have sent him hundreds ;) )
 
monkadill, How can you not have the time? It would take you longer to get it fitted at BMW since you have to drive there and back?
 
monkadill, I wasn't taking the piss BTW... I was being serious (even though Navid found it funny), so hope you werent offended.
I said what I said because It's a 40min job (and that includings waiting 15 mins after disconnecting the battery), so obviously you'd wait at the dealers to get it done right?
I just don't want you to get ripped off for something that is a really easy mod. :)

No offense taken - i may have to revist the webpage that show's how to do it!

monkadill if you are talking about the cable needed for the controls on the steering wheel i think its about £18 the price has gone up considerable it use to be about £8 .
 
I have the standard multifunction wheel but want to upgrade to the M wheel. Do In need new cables or are they common?
Would a group buy illicit a further saving from Joe at Sopers;). If so Im in dependant on price.

So would I, but I'm doubtful that Joe would drop the price much more seeing that there's already a fairly heft discount.
