z4 m coupes going down in value

-Couple of black advertised at mo with 25-35k miles asking £22 ono trade
-Recent z4mc advertised, 13,000 miles, 2 owners, FBMWSH every 12 months, £24,995 ono trade
-Recent z4mc advertised 2014/15, 11,000 miles, hexagon, £29,995 ono trade
-1 year ago - 1 owner 25,000 miles £21,000

Peaked a few months ago as so few on market, a lot more at moment.

Looking at the fact that in real terms they were brought out on the verge of/during a recession and finance was more expensive/harder to obtain they have gone down in value when inflation has risen.

You would get more money for most examples (not in real terms) - but the ones that you would really want (above) have surprisingly not really changed.

I sold my owned since new 58 FBMWSH one for £13,500 to webuyanycar.com as could not sell at £15,000 privately oct 13, all but 3 months spent on autotrader since, still on there for £14,499 now - mileage increased by 13,000 though and a lot more hammered :( - in nearly 2 years it has gone down in value, I would be surprised if someone paid him £13,000.

As there are few about I was lucky enough to meet the owner of a grey one last week near to my home, he started it up for me and showed me the car, they still look and sound amazing, what a sexy rear!!!!!. He paid £16k for it 4 years ago at 58k, he has only put 10k on, outside immaculate, inside seats worn as you would expect.

I am taking absolutely nothing away from the z4mc, they do not perform as well as my current car and but seeing one made me realise that I definitely want one again, they look that good! I have the option of putting a deposit down on a f type r coupe or buying a z4mc, logic and heart is going for the z4mc, they are still that impressive!

If you know of anyone that wants to sell a good example, £20,000 budget grey or interlagos blue preferred, I think this is achievable as trade must make 10-20% on them if not more, the problem is getting one privately rather that through trade at a higher cost.

Ruby's Interlagos coupe has just been put up for sale, it's a forum member's car and has been seen by lots of us - a nice, honest example if you're seriously looking

Prices have strengthened over the last 6/12 months but there are still good examples at Si prices
Re your above shopping list ? Low miles not always a guarantee of a good car

I agree regarding mileage, but in terms of keeping it long term it would be important to me to have lower miles as I plan on using it and keeping it for min 5 years.
