Z4 M COUPE WANTED - STILL - KG seat repairs?

Losing interest due to not finding right car, main people that seem to be buying them are dealers.

Seen Knights garage sold a LM black one that could not sell privately (don think he put a lot on it), he must of done quite a bit of work as pictures took a while to come on, the drivers seat had a lot of wear on the grey side cushion when I viewed it, it now looks like it has been coloured in as you can see the worn leather underneath, the grey one with red seats may of had the same done.

Sytner offered to repair the seats on a grey one a few months ago if it was a deal breaker, no idea what the outcome was as failed their 12 month warranty (offered 6 months instead).

For future reference has anyone been able to repair the seats back to immaculate, not sure of cost, how good it looks and importantly how long it lasts?

The Lm interlagos blue are not available at the moment.

Can't believe worn saggy bolsters are causing you so much grief.

I had the drivers bolster on my champagne interior done (recoloured) and it looked great at first but soon got discoloured with jean marks.

Got a quote of £900 to fully re-trim the seats in any colour / piping / stitching combo I wanted.

Sold the car for a M roadster in the end so never went ahead with it.

You cant expect 10+ year old cars to be immaculate they wear and the Z4s interiors are renowned for not wearing brilliantly.

Negotiate into the price and have it sorted. I had black leather in my M. Had a little bit of wear got some liquid leather to clean then got some dye couple of coats then sealed it and looked good as new. Cost about £20 for the dye, cleaner and sealer.

these were at 63000 miles when i sold it. I think they look great for that sort of milage.

Or £1200 for a complete napa leather retrim with 18 month guarantee?

The SG car at Knights has just benefited from some careful owners (i think) and regular Gliptone (i know)

My 28 year old 100,000 mile E30 convertible has black leather seats. ColourLock products keep them looking and feeling great. It does take some effort to do the full treatment but well worth it.

Few 30,000 miles about at mo.

Black sapphire one repackaged by sytner for £27k, forum member was trying to sell it around £21k a few weeks ago (think it was a guy based in Scotland)

Munich legends had a carbon black one but sold instantly

KG repackaged the black sapphire one I tested which again could not sell privately

Hurlingham have a black sapphire LM one.......

Black sapphire must of been the most common colour as there always seems to be one available

Hopefully someone will come up with an LM interlagos blue/space grey/silver one soon?
