Gosh... just gosh...

What a beautiful car, absolute cracker, don’t come much better than this despite the last service observations

Looks a treat.

Solid spec, good history and a great price considering the carbon roof and Supersprint goodies.

Like others have said an Oil Service would top it off. Yet either way this car should sell before spring.

Bit miffed on this... Had arranged to view tomorrow (from discussion starting with the seller when it first went up on Monday and up until last night) and now sold.. Not exactly from under my feet but frustrating nonetheless... :headbang:

Wow, didn’t take long. When a good car comes up act quickly then, can’t blame the seller for taking an offer.

Good sign for the market, although felt it was £2k under valued IMO

Agreed , loaded with trinkets anywhere close to £22k looked like money in the bank to me
Bad news for Hagasan but as a current seller of a ZMR who has been messed around with a so called "serious buyer" i would not blame the seller for taking the first proper deal he gets that makes him happy

Yeah, if it sold that quick it was probably too cheap! Always looked that way to me. But congratulations to whoever bought it, looks like you've got a cracker.

And you know exactly what was discussed, schedules both sides etc? I'm well aware how to go about buying cars thank you having owned about 50 and probably a dozen motorbikes..

Having agreed with the seller about tomorrow it would have been decent if he'd actually alerted me before doing this. Had I known I would have gone today and bagged it. Wasn't going to be any messing with loans etc.. Money was there..

Anyway what's done is done.. I still have a nice roadster to run around in..

Mr Wilks... That comment was intented for you.. Apologies.. My bad use of quotes when replying.. It was Angelus666 it was intended for as he was a bit patronising

Wasn't meant to be patronising, but come on let's be real, you might have made all the right noises, but if the seller had a phone call after yours saying I'll buy at the price now...what would honestly do...? You've sold 50 cars in the past, so you would have no doubt come across those people who sound brilliant on the phone/email but never show up the following day...

You're assuming the seller was available at any time.. If I arrange something with someone I keep the agreement or at least inform them if I have to change in good time. I could have gone today, even yesterday if necessary. Knowing that I was going tomorrow as we agreed the least he could have done is say look someone else wants to come.. If you don't want to miss the chance better come over now.. Sounds fair doesn't it?

Anyway apparently the people who bought work together and one owns a Z4MR.. Maybe someone the longer standing forumites might know?

It's only a car... A "nice to have" but not life changing.. More annoyed how it played out than anything..

Feel this car illustrates the market perfectly.

There’s quite a number of M cars for sale, all asking near top money because they see others going for strong money... I saw evidence of this plenty of times on my search...

Difference is it’s only demonstrable well specked & looked after motors that command the top money... & like the cars themselves don’t hang about.

It was me and my FD, I contacted Matthew this morning and asked if it was still for sale, it was so I made an appointment to view and bought it, when I sold my air cooled 911 years ago I had 5 people interested in it, one guy phoned on Thursday night and said I’ll come next week, I told him he’d be too late then, so he came the next day and bought it, from my perspective as a then seller I wanted a sale, no one offered a holding deposit so it was first come first served, I did call the others after to let them know, it was before forums :D

Anyhow hope there’s no hard feelings and I wouldn’t blame Matthew either, he’s a very nice guy, he did what I would’ve done and we had a pleasant smooth transaction
