It's not just runs up here; Steph and I invited Cherrym, PorthoZ4 and Chezsherman plus wives for lunch this week. It was great to have a bit more time to chat and relax. A more social side to the forum. :D
Cherrym had been working on Chezsherman's black paint and despite the light road dust it looked really impressive. Have to say, I particularly like the shadow chrome finish on the wheels - really effective.

Are you planning any biggies like last year?

Hi ronk,

Steph's joined me at Christmas on early retirement so we were looking forward to getting out on the road - it's just been a little unexpectedly manic, extended family wise, since Christmas so that's frustrated our plans.

The answer to your question is YES - we are looking at a Rivers and Roman's run/tour (cutting across and along the Roman Wall) and/or a tour involving a lunch stop on Holy Island to give all a chance to take a look around this time (last year we had just a few minutes!)

We will be offering our North Pennines and Hartside runs, the Hawick Loop and perhaps a coastal hoon as well.

All being well. . . .

Congratulations on the total family retirement package!

I'm looking forward to a few outings this year with the same proviso as you "all being well" :)
