So after a few months of ownership most of which the car has been in some form of bits, I’ve finally had a few weeks of driving every day and got be honest really enjoy the car. Yesterday though was one where the stress levels were up so hence the driving got a little spirited wow this car does not like roads that are not of track quality, and becomes very unstable above national speed limit. Even in a straight line it was uncomfortable, so I pose the questions of suggestions.
The car has had inner outer tie rods done new steering shaft with the perfect UJ (thanks to nuff_zed)
Hunter wheel alignment, not 4 wheel as some of the adjustable bolts were siezed on the rear, but alignment looked ok afterwards
Tyres are pretty new Hankook all round and at right pressures.
I’m used to driving cars with a bit of poke plus the 2 wheelers, but this car is by far the scariest I’ve driven well excluding my Vauxhall Viva on remoulds early 80’s
So you clever intelligent bunch please head up some suggestions because really do like the car and under old fogey daily driving I can’t fault it.
