Z4 jack up

Hi Guys

I found a lot of forum posts about z4 / non M jack up. Some people says that the car cannot be jacked up because the main support will bend and some other people think that it is ok.

I am wondering this because i want to change my rtf tyres to non rtf and i wonder what will happen if i get a puncture? Can i change the wheel with a normal jack up device?

Maybe it is a stupid question but i heard one guy changed the oil using 2X4's wood :)

There are jacking points on the rails

Little black box just behind the front wheels and just in front of the rear wheels

The black block does take a special attachment that is suppose to stop the jack slipping but I use a normal jack.

You may want to get a low profile jack as its a low car and I have to drive onto a 2x4 first to give enough room for the jack

A few of us have these jack blocks - as above it fits into the rectangle hole so giving a flat surface for the jack head - if memory serves right it cost me about £20

That's good o know one of mine is missing!! Can you remember where you got them ( ebay? )

The one shown in the pic is vulcanised rubber. There was much discussion about cutting a hockey puck to make the same thing for a lot less

Mute point if you lose yours as I did. I then bought an aluminium one from fleabay (from burger tuning) which is very nicely made

These aren't the pads in the car though, just something that engages with them
