Z4 Intake boot.

Hello. I removed the "sound generator" from my 05 Z4 3.0i and want to replace the intake boot as it has a crack. Since the stock 3.0 boot still has the port for the sound generator I would like to find one that does not to fully complete the removal. Is the boot for the 2.5 the same size? I'd be happy to just grab that one since it does not have the port. I tried to search and came up empty. Thank you.

Hi, why do you need a new boot without the sound generator? If you don’t like it you can just disconnect it & it won’t leak air. I ran my 3.0si without it & it was fine

^ This is true, but if not using it and he needs to change the boot anyway he may as well remove it and sell?

To the OP, yes the 2.5 has the same boot minus the sound generator hole.
