I doubt very much the car would still be there when you got back if left on the street. Once the local fraternity twig it been left for a long period it will be nicked or stripped of parts in no time.

It would be an unwise to leave it unattended for so long - would you dad not appreciate coming down picking it up and then driving it back up north for you ?

Just dont leave it in the street...

Unanimous verdict on him not being in London indeed. Gonna drive up to Lancs next weekend and leave it there for the period!

Just given a final wash and wax, I'll be sure to fill up with petrol and expect the mileage to creep up whilst I'm gone. Something tells me my dad's going to be more than grateful for the toy to play with...
