Z4 headlights

The internals have a clip which switches to right hand vehicles I`m sure...

When I had an Audi A3 I bought Headlights from Germany, they just needed clipping over. I might be wrong on this, but I`m sure most manufacturers design Headlights for a simple adjustment, to compensate right hand drive vehicles?

UK Z4 lights have an internal lever that as you descibe converts. In essence the lever merely blanks of the left 'flick up' used to illuminate the left side of the road.

At best if the reverse were true of EU lights you only be able to get a flat beam pattern by supressing he right flick. That's an MOT advisory - I know as I had it on my X5 whne messing around with lights.

My recollection though is that the EU lights dont have the adjuster.
