z4 headlight bulb

Has anyone replaced their halogen bulbs before? Trivial question but the wire clamp was giving me a hard time and didnt seem to want to budge in the direction the manual recommends. Any advice z4-forum? :thumbsup:

Also, to those with MTEC hid or any other retro installed, how is your beam cut off, does it glare other drivers or stays relatively low?
 
The manual is not very clear, i found that you dont so much pull the wire clamp out but slide it down of its two clips, you need to pull quite hard!
 
Thanks ewans, I had a feeling I might have to slide it down, because I gave it some force and it went in that direction. I wasnt sure though so didnt pull too hard.
