sorry guys,didnt mean to apear rude.i am a member as you can see but the car is my wifes,my love is my tvr so i tend to only look if i need knoledge.her car is an 08 2.litre in grey,which she has had since march and came with the top,which she has now decided to sell because she likes to get the roof down at every oppertunity even in winter.we live near derby.i have not taken a photo because the roof is in its storage bag hung in the roof of my garage AND i have not had the time to take it down yet.it is in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny stone chips which can only be seen on close examination.i advertised the roof on here because being a z4 forum i thought may be there would be someone looking for one,so there we go.cheers alan

To be fair, I'm sure he didn't join amnd wait five months just to sell something....and where else to offer a hardtop first but an owners site, and at not a bad price at this time of year.
 
What is it with people on this site? A guy comes onto the 'buy and sell' section of the forum to sell at a good price an item which lots of members want and we get all the forum snobs and naysayers coming out of the woodwork with 'tut tut' and 'bad show old chap' 'just not cricket' etc because he doesnt spend weeks putting pictures of his car up for people to see and talking about scuffs on his rims. Note the section in which he was offering his hardtop - the operative words are 'buy' and 'sell' Why bother with a buy and sell section if we are only going to let forum regulars advertise on it?

I agree, if someone has something of interest and at the right money in the buy and sell section no problemo, I would sooner the forum guys get the heads up before Joe public!!
