You can only get them from BMW dealers, or second hand from the likes of Ebay.
I have never seen an aftermarket hardtop that went into production. There was one in France but IIRC it was a mock up to see if they could get orders.

If you decide to get a new one - rather than a second hand one (and respray it if required) Id recommend having a really good ring around first. I saved about £200 for my rather lovely Stratus Grey one. Which incidently is still attached to the car due to the awful weather.

The real beauty is that the hood is neatly stored away and as the top is fitted it disconnects the hood open/close and connects up the rear screen heater. Also makes any remote function such as a Reinhold module work the windows only.
