Z4 Hard top roof lines leaking

Hi guys!

Newbie here...

Ive recently come across a leak of hydraulic fluid in the middle section of my roof nearside (Section where the rear window is)

Ive had a ridiculously high quote from BMW of approx £1600 to fix. (over the phone, as they havent seen the car)

I have found where to buy my new hydraulic pipe at a fraction of the cost however i need a part number for this to be ordered. Looking at the drawings on REAL OEM im still stumped as to which it is.

Has anyone else got a clue which one I may need? and if the would be easily fixed by myself or any suggestions of recommended garages in the north west area?

Many thanks

I had bookmarked this auction in case i needed them when fixing my roof , buy it now
hope this helps

actually ignore that , just noticed youve a e89 ..

How interesting! My roof completely failed in February due to a hydraulic leak and at the time I hadn't seen anybody else with the same problem, but now I'm noticing a lot of similar problems coming along.

I've been to specialists who don't want to touch the E89 roof (mainly through lack of experience), so mine is booked in to BMW (this week! yay!) for a whole new harness to be put into the roof.

I wonder if we're now starting to learn of a common fault?
