Z4 Gauge Kits

Of course, when I saw it it was full of bottled water and sandwiches, but just to be funny I referred to it as a beer fridge. I haven't drank in ages either - except for last night at the Jimmy Buffett Concert at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ.

WLH wanna go to his concert in Atlantic City this Saturday night with me?

Got some server up-grades going in this weekend and need to stay close but thanks for the invite anyway...

No worries, WLH.

fire-n-ice You wanna fly up and go to the concert with me?

Welcome back Andy! I still need to order one of those arm rests from you. I'll get around to it eventually.

That looks kewl, all those guages, but I'm just a dumb pilot and prefer a computer to monitor temps and pressures and just inform me via an idiot light if they are out of normal range.

Great spot to put them, though. Who uses their ashtray anymore anyway except for the occational cell phone or GPS charger? But you could put an outlet just about anywhere (i.e. the trunk connected directly to the battery, right WHL 😉 ).

I posted a power socket relocate on bimmerfest. I have yet to ever plug anything into a power socket in any car I have ever driven so I never saw the need for them....I guess I am a young, old school kind of guy.

You should be careful with the 'idiot lights' the newer BMWs are having lots of oil level sensor issues. I have replaced the sensor in my car 3 times and am still having the intermittent idiot light come on. My VDO gauges have yet to fail me.

Good point. The lights will only work if the sensors and computer are working properly. Nothing can replace a good old fashioned direct read guage.
