Absolutely gutted for you John, horrible decision to have to make.

May I suggest you email details to as many BMW dealers as possible asking them to bid on the car? Also there are some Independent businesses dealing with high end cars who would also bid. I did this when selling my 718 and was extremely happy with the final sale price.

Best of luck with the sale mate, only positive here is that there probably has never been a better time to sell a used car.

Can’t truly imagine how bad you feel. My worst nightmare is not to be able to drive. Hope you get your medical problems sorted quickly and are able to drive again. Following your threads you have had a really tough time. It’s time a bit of luck came your way.
The car looks stunning and surely will sell quickly. Especially with the waiting times as they are and the uncertainty of cars arriving with all the ordered packs.

I guess the positive is the last blackout wasn't on the M1 or a major A road and I didn't hurt anybody which I couldn't live with so every cloud....also it's not anything really serious like Beedubs' had so I'm grateful for that.

Still bloody feckin pissed off though....... :x :roll:

Sorry to read of your situation. My other half is going through the same.

She's had a stroke and hasn't driven in the last 3 years. As horrible as it sounds, you've got the right attitude. You haven't harmed anybody else - as I think you'd never really get over that.

Beautiful car. I hope you can get top dollar for it as you've really kept it looking stunning.

Having to sell your car must be hell but your health is the most important thing. Hope you get fixed as soon as possible and return to driving again.

As already said, at least it's a good time to sell. Great looking car and I suspect being sold too cheap in the current climate.

As suggested, send links to all major dealers as they are bound to have customers on waiting lists for new ones that would take your hand off, so they will pay higher than £48K.

Couple more places to try, We buy any car ? my mate John sold his 981 boxster to them and was very surprised on how much they offered, about 4k more than the dealers. Also try Carwow, they have dealers bidding on your car and if one offers the right price they come and collect and pay you the money. Nothing the lose trying them both.

Also may I add..........I wish it had a cognac interior :evil:

Beautiful car but it's just a tin can stuffed with recycled plastic on the inside.

You can't recycle your health, that comes first. Glad you're ok on the whole. At least it's an excuse to be chauffeured around.

Strange how they work the prices out. He was also placing an order for a new 718 gts so you would have thought they would have offered more so it went the WBAC
