I'll forego the beers tonight in order to be more awake for the weekend, sorry folks. See you all bright and early tomorrow morning :)

No probs ally - will you be dropping by to convoy to start point or meet you there? Ps how long to get to start point for me?

You shouldn't need more than 20mins to get to start point from the hotel: turn left along dual-carriageway section, right at roundabout towards Larbert/Stirling and follow the A9 via Plean to hit the outskirts of Stirling. Left at roundabout then the next roundabout you reach will be the one with the services off it :)

I'm probaby safer to say we'll just meet you at Stirling! It's a good bit quicker for me just to jump onto the motorway from the house, plus I'll probably leave 10mins after our intended time of leaving house.... I'll be at the services as close to 8 as possible.

I'm so glad I booked a hotel room now.

Up bright and early, the sun is shining and it's raining??
Just about to head off see you all in a couple of hours :driving:

Have a good weekend hope the weather isnae too bad. I'm bummed I couldnae make it

Just arrived home 30minutes ago, we had a fantastic time, although it poured down with rain overnight which made the camping rather challenging.  :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

The scenery and the roads were fantastic, with some of the best driving roads I've ever done in a car :driving: , Thanks to all who went and especially to Ally& Jo for their great organising skills.

Well done to the guys from the south, it was great to meet you and I hope to see you again very soon.

No doubt pics will appear over the next few days.

402 mile round trip for me, Pretty bad MPG, but excellent smiles per mile.

Another fantastic Z4-forum meet and as usual a great time from start to finish. (Apart from a somewhat uncomfortable night on very poor excuse of an airbag). It was great to see alot of the usual suspects and another couple of new faces from down saarf. Bradders, and Mr n Mrs Guiseley, fantastic effort in travelling up for this, Its always nice to hear people complementing your country  and I hope it was almost everything you hoped it would be, apart from the rain today.

I think Bradders was actually dissapointed that the midges didn't appear

411.8 miles for me
Average MPG 31
Average MPH 44.75 :o

pics will follow later.

Fantastic weekend again, great to see the usual suspects and some new faces.
Thought MrsG was going to choke on her dinner when she heard of Nosa's 'special wheel polish'.

got back just after half 4,

636 miles door to door
50 mph average
35 mpg (ish)

Photos currently uploading so i will post links when they have finished.

Just thought about the number plates give me some time and I will distort them all.

Absolutely fantastic meet - thanks for all the great chat and company!

Despite the miserable weather in Skye, had a good laugh and there were some amazing roads. It's the first time I've driven along the road to/from Spean Bridge and certainly won't be the last.

Although Kirsty didn't really sleep and was cold, she hasn't completely ruled out camping again - when will she ever learn!

Will get the photos looked through and online over the next day or two.

Looks like a good meet, pity i missed it. there are some great roads up skye direction :driving:
Hope to meet some of u guys on the meet that Richard g is planning down dumfries, later in the yr

Thats the second time I have driven it, Todays was the best, Was so Glad to have still been lead car at that point, Once we got past the 3 or 4 cars that were doing 40mph I had a wide open road in front of me, Wide open Twistys with see thru bends and TIght left hand turns, It supERB!!!.
Some thanks and some apologies.
Thanks to Ally and Jo for organising another superb weekend,

Thanks to Richard for allowing us the use of his Mansion,,,,,er I mean tent, and for doing all the hard work in both construction and dismantle, (he was like a man possesed as I lamely followed him with the mallet trying to appear useful)

Thanks to my friend and neighbour Simon for being great company over the weekend and never Flinched during some the "spirited" driving :o

Thanks to Alzay for the squirt of toothpaste.

APOLOGIES for not having a Turquoise car :poke:

Sorry for the stop at the wee car park thing, I was trying to let you all by as I was unsure of which turn to take at the next junction.

And sorry for anything I might or might not have said whilst under the influence of beer :)

Thanks to everyone who came and made it the weekend it was

Sorry for almost given you a heavily modded, one of a kind bumper when you stopped out of Dunkeld. I'm too used to following the leader!

True but she is willing to try it for a third time. Saying that, with her list of equipment demands, I'd be cheaper finding the nearest De Veres hotel and booking the luxury suite for the night!

Ahh but then you would miss out on the game of "who was that phantom snorer". :tumbleweed:
