You'll find me sitting in the warmth of the Slig Inn I think!
Do you think we should warn them this year, 15 or 16 people turning at once did seem to cause a bit of confusion last time.

Already had this in mind and planned to discuss on Sat morning at meet point, but could sort out before then. TBH a BBQ is a dodgy choice, probably safer just to book for the pub because we're going to end up in there anyway :icb:

Is everyone OK with this?

I could call tonight and discuss a booking for, e.g. 7.30pm?

Bar supper and a few pints of guinness suits me fine.

Same for us two too - although it's a bitter for me if you're offering :)
That'll be a pint of heavy then.

Got to look on the positive side of things, but I figure you are right, shame the good weather didn't last.

Sounds good to me, maybe accompanied by a babysham or small dry sherry :)

Yes happy to confirm pub grub and beers sounds good - bbq now looks unlikley - shame.

Table for 16 folk booked for 7.15pm on Saturday in the Sligachan Inn, hope that's OK with everyone

Maybe should have mentioned, my mate who is coming with me used to live on Skye. says he knows a good road to drive whilst there and probably a few other gems of local information i should think..

And he says its always sunny on Skye :P

??? Then I can only assume that as it was the weekend then you were in your dress :D

Oh lord - am I going to need a translator, or should I just keep my mouth shut and get you lot to talk to the locals on my behalf!

I presume my english currency will work fine, and I don't need it translating at the border?

See you all at the week-end - only 1.5 days of work left for me :)

Your English pounds are only worth half what our Scottish pounds are worth but tell you what, I'll do you a big favour and happily straight-swap my £50 Scottish pounds for your £100 English? Don't say I'm not good to you...

Weather forecast looking better for the Sunday :)

Other than the obvious that A11y has pointed out English money will work fine but not always the other way round though saying that don't forget your bribe money and passport for the border guards :poke: .

Just give El Presidente Salmando what he wants in the separation referendum - and it'll soon be the other way round. :x
