Er thats Chris  :P

Faced with the same dilemma I decided to drop Malc a private pm - there again the words subtle and Nosa aren't often used in the same sentence :poke:

Hope you all had a cracking run - looks like the weather was better than expected and look forward to more photos :)

I don't mind, gave me a giggle when I got home and read it lol

Oh, and I almost forgot to post this one, Nosa ruining a perfectly good pose-

This looks utterly brilliant.

Haven't been around long enough to come along to this sort of thing yet.. maybe soon!

Morning All, got back at 10.45 last night after a good run down A68 and A1 once Mick had mastered driving my car with his walking boots on. :o

Really enjoyed the weekend, meeting you all, good laugh, great driving. Special thanks to a11y for setting it all up.

For anyone who wants the gory details my car started to misfire half way up the Bealach na Bar (not a good place for this to happen), we coaxed it over the hill and down to the campsite. Next morning, on to the recovery truck and off to Calterdon BMW at Inverness - 2 hours away. Thanks to bad communication from my breakdown company they weren't expecting our arrival at 11.30 on a Saturday morning. But their service manager really played a blinder and by 1.00 we had a nice shiny new ignition coil and were good to go, you can't get better service than that.

So we made it back for the barbie, (Chicken Incinerata anyone?) Tentathon, the near burning of the MX5 Owners flag and Nosa's premature but vigorous celebration of Bayern Munich's "victory"

Tons more to say but to sum it up for anyone Darn Sarf it's worth the haul up to Scotland and back because when you get there you'll get roads and trafiic conditions we can only dream of, plus of course the hospitality of our more Northerly brethren.

If I can get the pics from Mick's camera I'll post a few of them.

Photos now ready :)

After a wet start, the rain is off, and we stopped at the "Green Wellie"

Nosa, was a good weekend. But next time - take Mrs Nosa with you :D

By the end of the weekend, I think we were all tired of hearing "I miss my wife", like a broken record.... :headbang:

And to disappear off at 4.30am on the Saturday to find a phone signal to call her was so nice of you. Shame you couldnt find a signal after going all that effort :(

Only a 7hr drive which I have to again at the weekend.

Seriously guys looks like another amazing Scottish Run really gutted I got so close to being able attend but then work got again, still got to fund Z4-itis somehow.
How was the new tent Ally?

Hopefully catch you all on the next one.

I got back about 9.30pm, so looks like you were back last I'm afraid. Just one photo from me for now, BBQ leftovers gone to a good home 8):

Another great weekend away with the Z4 folk :)

Great driving, great roads, great weather, great company. Good to meet more new faces - hope you'll become frequent attendees. Or - in the case of those who travelled from afar - hope we see you all again on future meets: Skye 2013? I've no longer got the Z4 but as long as I'm tolerated on meets I'll be there in something with 4 wheels (and 4 seats :) ). I actually really enjoyed hustling Jo's Fabia along those roads, even though I know myself that it's a good car even I was very impressed with it's ability. IMO the roads get better the further north you get, the road from Invergarry to Eilean Donan Castle being my particular favourite.

I can't see many pics here behind the firewall at work but will check them out from home later. I downloaded a total of 600+ photos - I think Jo and me were a bit snap-happy all weekend - and will add them once my 0.4mbps "broadband" finally uploads them.

Nosa: don't worry, Mrs Nosa won't ever hear of this weekend (I won't make that mistake again, so any rumours will probably originate from that effing Z4 Widow's Group...)

Graham: was really happy (and seriously impressed) when you arrived back onsite on the Saturday. Glad you made it back as I enjoyed following/being followed by the ///M and it's driver.

AndrewP: holy s**t, that's a LOT of sausage. And to think we made it through the weekend without one "sausage-fest" gag...

Richard: you were missed mate. Tent was brilliant, such a difference having a decent tent even though it lacked the carpet :D

Bring on the next weekender meet :driving:

Great pics! Well done Ally!

Was in Inverness over the weekend and the weather was stunning there too! :) Great roads!
