OH NO I have full blown man flu, really hoping this has cleared up by Friday :(

Come on Nosa- be a full blown man instead - it's only a sneeze ! The fresh air will soon cure it - there's not too much rain forecast now - don't think we'll need the sun screen mind ! :driving:

I like this forecast: http://www.yr.no/place/United_Kingdom/Scotland/Applecross/long.html

The Norwegians are usually fairly accurate too...

cj_eds: who said anything about a new car?

Sniff, cough,
In bed atm, not feeling too good at all, getting no sympathy because apparently "if I was really ill I would be cancelling applecross"

She doesn't realise that a weekend in the Z without her is probably exactly what I need....Bring it on :D :D

You should tell her that you're not cancelling because the forum runs come before all else :poke:

Seriously though, hope you're better by Friday. Who else is going to rip the piss out of my car and SWMBO and get away with it!

Going by a11ys boasts of the size of his onboard cool box I reckon it's an Ice cream van.

No worries Jamie, save loosing the use of my limbs or loss of life Iwill be there, although it is getting harder to rip the pish out of your car as it does look badass now,

Kirsty on the other hand, well it just funny seeing her look to you for support but coming up lacking, makes me LOL

Got most of my stuff together now, weather could be better but shouldn't be too bad.

For Saturday night I've got a couple of disposable BBQs and a fairly ridiculous amount of sausages (something like 5kgs worth!) which should be OK in a coolbag, so I suggest everyone else leaves sausages off their shopping list!

Pretty much sorted as well - just a few other things to get packed and food to buy tomorrow (as well as charcoal!)

Two sleeps to go! :driving:

Think i've got everything, popping to lochcarron on saturday for bbq food
Whats your thoughts regarding tyre pressures ? its the first time I've had the car fully loaded :D

One sleep to go :yeah:

Shame it raining today, I left my car outside last night and now it's wet and yuk

Off to Tesco today to stock up on food, beer and other camping stuff :D

One sleep!

Trial packed the car and washed it yesterday. Then decided I couldn't be bothered unpacking it so that's it sorted for tomorrow.

Even managed to make use of my extended luggage space

All I need to do is buy some beer/wine/food and I'll be good to go!

Now I'm getting worried- I've managed to pack some food but no room for beer so hopefully will manage to pick some up at Lochcarron.

JP - you really storing stuff there ? might need a zip tie or two - I'm taking frozen burgers etc. - could maybe defrost some in there too ?

My zed's all clean and dry ! he doesn't like to go out in the rain . . .

We're officially dropping out this morning. Nicola seemed to have picked up a cold or something during the op last week, and now this morning her throat is terrible. Off to the Docs to see if they think it's an infection and get some anti-biotics. I wouldn't care but I've spent the last couple of days force feeding her cold remedies, oranges, vitamin tablets, honey & lemon drinks and anything else I could think of.
I've even had the "well you can always go on your own" suggestion that you just know is a loaded question.

I might tag along in the morning to do my usual disappearing act half way through the day. There's a convenient point on Ally's suggested route where I can take a left turn and head for home. I wouldn't want to name that place on the forum after the previous threats of veet...

Really sorry to hear that cj-eds - hope Nicola is on the mend soon and you mage at least the first blast on Frida !
