Vegetarian bbq for me?

That's like asking for a 1 cylinder Z4!

I'm sure you could bring your own 'never been cooked on with meat' grill!

Regards

Most Z4 drivers are meat-eaters. Pork chops, steaks, burgers, etc. :D

Disposably BBQs are the answer! One veggie, about 6 for the meat :D

Or do what me and my (veggie) wife do - be careful and use opposite sides of the BBQ...

(although, according to my colleague eating meat at a BBQ is allowed even if you're a veggie! That's what he does, useless veggie...)

Ok, so we are agreed on Lakes or Dales, some form of Camping (I have been persuaded so long as it is the summer), some form of Z4 inspired mass drinking game (my suggestion), some driving and meat-eaters only. Sorry Lucy but you're going to have to cave!

Now...Dates, perhaps a new thread is needed. Going to put a date on the table: July 25th.

Too soon?

I'm sure i can come up with something.

I camped a few weeks back Friday to Sunday and made a few lunchboxes full of salad (the weather was cold enough to keep it fresh  ) and took a portable stove where i could boil pasta and things. But my the time i was really drunk Friday and Saturday night i ate burgers anyway    And they were horrible

I'm up for drinking games! :D

If i can camp then anyone can camp.

I even camped in the snow last year (thought i was gonna die though  )

I'll even play drinking games if the forfeit is to be vegetarian for a week!

Sounds like we need a campsite that allows BBQ, near a hotel, near some great roads in the summer with a BMW dealer to sponsor with free beer!

Who wouldn't be there for all of that?

The only thing to top it is a new BMW Z4 35 to drive around Rockingham track!
I wonder if BMW could even pull a session for us on the circuit?

Bowkerstead Farm in Grizedale, ideal if we're deciding on the Lakes. I stayed there last year as part of a 24-hr mountain-bike event - it's more of a massive field than a campsite, but it's the type of place that might accommodate a big group of folk with no complaints (most campsites are funny about big groups, particularly if we're likely to make noise. Toilets are nice and clean too! And they allow BBQ's as we also had a campfire last time.

Pic HERE - spot my old car...

Reviews here mention no issues about making noise or lighting fires :fuelfire:

Can always depart for a travel inn or the like if the weather pee's it down :D

I really want to say yes to this but will be offshore this summer for a week or so and won't know the exact dates for a while. It sounds like it'd be great fun though - I hope I don't miss it!

Although not a Z owner yet I might pop along for abit depending on dates and times. It might give me a chance to get my head around some options and things. :)
