Z4/forum terminology and slang for Newbies

Ok peoples. ( Newbies) How many of you know your Aux-in from your Retro-fit? Your Stubbies from your Sticky threads?
Can you see where this is going? Well as a Newbie to Z4's I've had a lovely time trying to find out what half of this stuff meant when researching etc. Some may also find it 'interesting' or 'challenging' when they have done the same. However............
Wouldn't it be helpful if there was a thread/folder/tutorial that helped us along the way in these matters of slang, acronyms and techno-babble?
Someone is going to tell me there is one already and I'm being a thicko.
(I remember when Televisions came with 'legs' so you'll have to excuse me, I am getting on a bit.)

Grizzly9 - why don't you start collecting a few in your post (edit it) and the mods might make it sticky if it looks useful?

It was pretty confusing for me too. If you google "flimper spec" it just comes back here.

Ive had mine almost a year & haven't got a clue what a "intravee" is , i don't think i need one though as i'm more than happy with my Z as it is :wink:

Well Mt PT, good idea, but I've just gone to Taz's previous posts and it's like an Aladdins cave in there full of useful stuff. Also agree with what Wilksy says, but will do some more delving over time and may post stuff that has'nt been covered if that's possible.
