i have failed to see the plus point of facebook,twitter or any other similars .
i have zero interest in the tedious ramblings of folks i don,t wanna know & have even less interest in telling those same folks what i,m up to :?
for useless information with like minded individuals i only need to come here

The only thing i actually use Facebook for is messaging girls, I never bother even flicking down the page to read the utter drivel that my "friends" write, just log in check messages, notifications, friend requests and log off, tap "z" into my search bar and click enter and it brings me straight here to read something of interest

Facebook is good for keeping in touch with friends abroad, of which I have many.
I stopped using facebook frequently ages ago. Too many people posting up what they had for tea (sometimes with pics) - and loads of other boring jibber jabber.
Not been as active on the forum lately either. Too much other stuff going on.... which is far more enjoyable 8)

My wife uses Facebook in a typical female fashion, and for spying on Wee Bing.
I use it for pretty much nothing, though my rugby squad has a page on there so used for posting stuff about that, to their parents - as it is a private group.
I have an account but barely use it, usually just view some pictures of my nephew when my girl's sister posts

I keep an eye on facebook from time to time, to see if anyone is doing anything interesting, any invites out there for nights out etc..
I rarely update my profile, last thing I want people to know is when my house is empty so they can come round and break in.
Of course my girlfriend likes facebook, and plays all those zynga games. Which also means she logs in to my account to play those games on my account, so that she can get more of whatver random tat is supposed to be collected.
So its not my fault that my profile makes me look like some farmvilling nutter.

Similar usage here. I have my Facebook security locked down, friends list not visible, and a few other things. I also keep work away from any social media apart from a meme that runs amongst business traveller to post flights in airport code format (LIS - LHR etc)
Never use it. I talk with my friends. Its an old fashioned thing !

I have an account and do use it but I think FB is on the way out. These days your news feed is cluttered with either sponsored crap or info on what photo or group one of your friends has liked. You just end up scrolling through endless crap. It always amazes me too how many people just accept friend requests from any random acquaintance they may have fleetingly met. Some of my friends have over 1,000 friends. Unless you're a billionaire or supermodel nobody has 1,000 friends!

As for twitter, I have never even looks at it. Something that you can only post 100 and odd characters at a time is either full of pish or an ego whiteboard. I like my pish and ego to have space to breath

Twitter? Use it to track journalists, football news etc. Oh, and to spy on the son.
Facebook? Use it to contact friends when travelling. Oh, and spy on the wife.
Z4-Forum? Use it as a forum, to chat, ask questions, post drivel. Oh, and to stalk everyone on Stuart's map :evil:

My brother used to play mafia wars! Never done it myself.
