THIS YEARS LAKES AND DALES MEET (NEXT WEEKEND;1ST/2ND/3RD JULY) WILL BE GETTING A 2PAGE FEATURED ARTICLE(WORDS AND PICS) IN THE NEXT AVAILABLE/TO PRINT, BMW CLUB MAGAZINE (AFTER THE MEET),WHICH SHOULD BE THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE. :D :thumbsup:

WHAT MORE REASON DO U NEED TO GET UR NAME DOWN...A GREAT MEET,SUPERB DRIVES (ALA SAMMYZ),BBQ,etc AND SOME GOOD BANTER WITH A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE.....PLUS U GET U/UR CAR IN A MAGZN FEATURE :)
 
CJ ,the CAPS lock was deliberate,so to bring it to ppl's attention...and in an effort for it to stand out,lol :D

Just got the September issue of 'Straight Six' and the article - 'Invasion of the Lakes'. Loads of pics and three page spread. Craig's article seems to have survived intact and it reads very well. If you can get hold of a copy it's a great souvenir for those who attended the meet!

Well done Craig! Some nice pics for me to remember the 'M' as well :thumbsup:
 
Glad its arrived,i havnt got mine yet,being in Scotland,i should get mine on Monday.

Yes,Taz,the BMW Carclub Mag is called Straight Six,and ,depending upon what part of the country u are in/how good ur local post office is,u should get ur copy any day from today,or Mon/tue/Wed/Thurs next week ,so hope u get it before ur hols,redz4. :thumbsup:

Its a good mag/a good read,and it also has another z4-related article in the Sept issue :D

UPDATE.....the mag will be going out over the next few days/as it has went out to members first,depending on ur location. sammyz got his 1st,on Saturday;i just got mine today(tuesday).

Steve,these are non-members,and have bought the mag primarily for the z4-forum meet.
Steve @ the carclub only got them posted out thurs/fri this week,and i only got mine on tues,tho John (sammyz),got his Saturday,as it seems to be those in England get 1st,lol :D

So what do u folks think of the Article,then?

Pity u didnt manage to make it,Original guvnor..hope u enjoyed the write-up anyway,and can make the next one :thumbsup:
 
A wee note,re the BMW Carclub magazine article...it refers to the z4forum.com;even tho i wrote z4-forum.com,but shouldnt make much odds, lol
and the photos i had just said were courtesy of z4-forum members,but they have attributed them to me and John(sammyz) :?

That aside,the photos are from Jimbo,Dannyd, Guiseleys Daughter(Bethan,i think??),CJ,Siftah,and a few from Myself.....
hope u all enjoy it. some good pics in there,lots of lovely Roadsters,inc. mine/sammyz's/tweeds/cj's,etc,etc and some of Danny d and Chris' 2 blue coupes,JDM's black coupe,etc,plus group pics. :D
