Bump....get poting ur photos,folks,so i can put as many as possible forward for the future magzn.articles.
They need to be max 1Meg ,so they arent too big/take too long to download,when they are getting chosen for the articles,cheers :thumbsup:

Thought it was time to reveal the picture of the reason I couldn't go, a bee sting on my left ear on the Friday afternoon before the Saturday meet. :( This was taken about five hours after being stung, the next day was agony as my face swelled up and became very painful. I was gutted not be able to go, and even more so since seeing such great photos of the event. Oh well there is always next year.

Sorry it looks like mugshot, but I wasn't in a smiling mood.

It was, to be honest it got worse, in the end I looked like something from a horror movie, not that I look great at the best of times. :D
 
Your left one doesn't look too clever either!!!

Joking aside, it was a shame you had to drop out, hope all is well now. Are you coming to Zedfest this weekend?

Hahaha, My left ear is perfect, the face it's connected to is awful... :D

No can't make Zedfest, working on a property overnight as I have tenants moving out one day and new tenants moving in the next morning so overnight refurb is due.

That will more brilliant pictures of something I couldn't attend... :cry:

is this evidence? are you thinking of involving the police and do you know where the bee lives?

No worries - there'll be plenty more coming up you can come along to.

I'm thinking about trying to set something up south Midlands way (rural Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire maybe) to try and unite the North & South a bit better.

I had thought about suing the land owner where the beehives are, but as it's my Mom, I thought I best not :D
 
I have started pm-ing some of you,and will be pm-ing more of you folks as soon as i can(though i am away for the next 5days)..with regards to PHOTOS FOR THE MAGAZINE ARTICLES.

I need these to ba as close to 1MEG to 2MEG as u can get.....
TOO SMALL,eg 100-600kb and the qaulity isnt good enough for the Magazine/when blown up/transfered....
TOO BIG,eg3meg and above,then the file/attachment takes too long to transfer for the magazine folk.

PLEASE E-MAIL ALL PHOTOS I ASK U FOR ASAP,AS I WILL NEED TO FORWARD THEM BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK,FOR THE BMW CARCLUB MAG,STRAIGHT SIX, FOR POSSIBLE INCLUSION IN THE ARTICLE (mag editors final choice).

Myself and John/sammyz,have already put an article together,which i e-mailed to Steve at the carclub..but will need to get the photos to go with it,or else it aint no good :D


I/we will also be doing a slightly smaller article/piece for the Clubscene section for TOTAL BMW MAG,which i will be putting together next week also...on my return.

SO GET THOSE PHOTOS E-MAILED TO ME ASAP..PLUS ANY THAT HAVNT BEEN POSTED,THAT U WOULD WANT PUT FORWARD FOR INCLUSION IN EITHER ARTICLE....

ON ANOTHER NOTE..ONCE I HAVE IT CONFIRMED WHAT EDITION/MONTH OF BOTH THE BMW CARCLUB MAG(STRAIGHT SIX) AND TOTAL BMW MAGAZINE THE ARTICLES APPEAR IN,I WILL LET U FOLKS KNOW.

OBVIOUSLY,THE MAIN/LARGER ARTICLE WILL BE IN THE CARCLUB MAG(depending on how much space Totalbmw give us),AND U CAN BUY TOTAL BMW OFF THE SHELF.......BUT
THE CLUB MAGZN IS FOR MEMBERS,AND, AS WITH LAST YEAR ANYONE WANTING A COPY(COST OF £5,FACE VALUE INC.FREE DELIVERY TO UR DOOR),CAN PM ME AND PAY ME VIA PAYPAL,AND I WILL THEN PAY THE CARCLUB,THANKS :thumbsup:
