Z4-FORUM NATIONAL MEET,LAKES/DALES,JULY 2012

Just to echo what others have said............A big big "Thank You" to Craig and John for another outstanding meet. Superb work guys and from the comments here you can see that everyone had a fantastic time and your efforts were well appreciated. Fantastic work with the raffle Craig, you done a great job with aquiring the prizes. Was nice to see people digging deep for the Charity.

The weather........none of us could of predicted such glorious weather after the drive down in torrential rain. It was funny on the Sunday. John, Phil and myself pulled on to the M6 at Penrith to make our way home and it was if the big man above was saying..."Ok Lads. You've had your weekend of fun, now cop a load of this". The heavens opened up for the first time during the weekend. :D

I finally reached home at 21.00 last night having got caught in the M1 jam caused by Silverstone. Too tired to post any pics but had a quick look at some of the others on here. Great memories.

I'm going to post about 10 pics on here later. If anyone wants photos of themselves/cars removed just PM me and I'll remove immediately.
I've got about 200 pics in total with the bulk coming from my Nikon D3200 and the rest from my compact. The Nikon produces 6016 x 4000 pixel 10mb jpg's so they are pretty big. They'll be straight out of the camera with no "Post processing".I'm going to upload them all to my "Dropbox" account where they can be downloaded at your will. If anyone else has pictures stored anywhere the links would be appreciated.

Just like to finish by saying Hi to everyone I met over the weekend and sorry to those I never had a chance to say goodbye to. Look forward to seeing you all next year.

Funny drive home. Left you guys on the M1 then dived into first services for a comfort break. Dropped the roof and straight into a heavy rain storm. Sat in the outside lane in a train at speeds of around 90 (kph) and never got a drop on me :) Can't believe how quick managed to get home with no traffic, but I was sooo tired after a day's driving them that long run home.

I would just like to say a BIG THANKS to all those that attended, and made the weekend what it was....
once again,we had great company, good banter and some great routes, etc (thanks to John/Sammyz  ),and the man upstairs even listened to us,and gave us a whole weekend of roof down motoring** :)

As others have said,it was nice to meet friends new and old,and i just about think i managed to get round to speak to everyone, though some not as long as i would have liked,it was nice to meet u all and i am glad every1 enjoyed themselves. :D :driving:

I just wish i had more time to get a closer look at all the lovely z4's we had in our midst.

**for those without the need for a tin-opener,lol :poke:
