Z4-FORUM NATIONAL MEET,LAKES/DALES,JULY 2012

Got back earlier after a really great weekend, thanks to Craig and John and everyone else for organising it :D

It was great to see so many Z's in convoy - we really stopped traffic - literally!

Back down to earth with a bump though - just mowed the lawn as it was about 3 feet deep

Did 330 miles in total on one tank - had 1 mile left on the read out when I pulled into my local shell garage.

Congrats to Sammyz for finding the longest layby ever

What a fantastic weekend, even our lass enjoyed her self.

Great company, great cars and fantistic driving roads.

Thanks to Craig and John for again putting together the best meet, until next years. :driving:

Just home! Great couple of days and great to meet friends old and new! Today's drive was epic especially the run to Alston when we went 17 miles without passing a car!!!

Some great photos already! Can't believe we had good weather again and I wasn't flooded out of my diddy tent. Load of money raised for a good cause as well ( well done Craig)

Saturday was scary leading over 30 Zeds around the Lakes, I felt sorry everytime someone pulled over to let me pass on a narrow road only to find there were another 30 odd cars right behind me lol.

look forward to seeing all the photos

Great meet. Great company. Back in Halifax now, going back to Scotland tomorrow. Will post pics and more later.

Thanks to Craig and Sammyz for some good routes and a great meet.

The Sunday drive was great. Thanks lads

Another great meeting. Can't believe having driven up in a biblical rainstorm that we had a completely dry weekend - that wasn't on the cards.

Roof down all the time, some fantastic roads and driving as always great to see friends of ald and some new ones :)

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Craig and John for a great weekend, thanks for all your hard work. Nice to meet faces old and new, I'll be back next year for sure.Although a couple of mods might be on the cards for next time.A better satnav for my sausage fingers and a brake up grade for when I'm chasing that bright red M in front of me :) .

What I want to know is why JDM was being a coupe in all those shots :poke: :D

Yet more thanks to John and Craig for giving us all such an enjoyable weekend. I thought it was going to be a complete wash out weather wise but it was hood down all the way. My GF also thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and has already started nagging me about when the next meet will be. :D

Finally, what a thoroughly cracking lot the members of this forum are! I didn't manage to chat with everybody but those I did, old and new, were top notch.

Really! I filled up twice :(

Me too and need to fill her up again now!

Ok, I obviously wasn't trying hard enough! Had to drive like Driving miss Daisy on the way back. Gave it the beans yesterday and was a little bit more sedate today because I had two passengers! Note for next time 'must try harder' :driving:
