Z4-FORUM NATIONAL MEET,LAKES/DALES,JULY 2012

I'm sure we could set up a non damaging area to do some test bay parking and parallel parking. Closest to something wins. Touch a marker and you're out.

Whats this with the wheel dinging, its catching!!! Had my wheels refurbed only 3 weeks ago and had a stupid moment yesterday tried
to get tucked in to the kerb and just nicked the front bugger again, :headbang: I need some :driving: lessons over this weekend,
nice careful :driving:
Am i the furthest away from the meet i wonder. South Wales to the
Lakes.???

I'm coming from North London......250 ish miles IIRC.

Anyone I can drive up with on Saturday morning? I will be passing Birmingham about 7am on the M6, maybe a little earlier, if Anyone fancies travelling up together let me know, also is anyone bringing a computer who might be able to program my indicators to flash 3 times?

146 miles for me, although I might take an alternative route and shave a few miles off. Hoovered and did the leather yesterday although the exterior is still dirtay but will get her shampooed towards the end of the week :)

If I go direct it's 247. However I'm detouring to pick up my passenger for the weekend

304 miles for me according to Google, however after much deliberation and indecision between the two of us Mrs Bing and I have had to decide that we won't be driving them

She had an arthroscopy of the knee just over two weeks ago for a torn medial miniscus - the doctors on here will understand that untranslated, but basically she had a big bit of torn cartilage removed. Camera in one side, doctors tools in the front and the other side, 40mins of rummaging around. Was done privately so we only knew she was having the op at the beginning of June, and thought she'd be recovered. An hour's journey to get tyres on Friday resulted in some pain and stiffness, Physio on Saturday said we'd be ok with plenty of pain killers :? , went for a mini test hoon today (nothing very fast and loose at all) and after watching her hold her knee and whince on every major bump and corner we decided 6 hours up, hooning for two days, and 6 hours back was going to be a killer - and not a great way for her to spend her birthday weekend.

Which sucks. But is absolutely the right thing to do. Really sorry as I was so looking forward to this, as was Mrs B.

I think we're going to go for an overnight in Brighton to get pissed instead, so if anyone news a quality hotel near the seafront and the centre of town then let me know.

It does suck mate but mrs B's health must come before hooning!

Sorry to hear that Bing, but it would no fun if the good wife isn't fully match fit, have great weekend with whatever you come up with, at least you won't be able to go shopping, as all that walking must be out of the question. :)
