As per title, some details on the Article I have done for BMW CAR.........the deadline had passed for article submission for the September Issue,as this comes out at the Start of August.....so I have been reliably informed that this ARTICLE WILL BE IN THE OCTOBER ISSUE OF BMW CAR, DUE ON SALE AT THE START OF SEPTEMBER (I will confirm exact date when I know it).
I have done a 2000-word article for them and sent on ALOT of photos from myself, Tom Scott and EVERYONE ELSE who sent me e-mails/downloadable links for photobucket, etc., however the mag editor has the Final say at how many and which of these they will use....though I did request that at least 1 of mine gets in it, obviously (but this isn't always the case, haha).
ON ANOTHER NOTE......
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE A COPY OF THE BMW CARCLUB MAGAZINE,STRAIGHT SIX, AS THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY MAG AND I USUALLY GET EXTRA COPIES DONE FOR THOSE ON THE FORUM WHO ARE NOT CLUB MEMBERS, AT A FACE VALUE OF £5 PER MAGAZINE, INC POSTAGE.
I have yet to confirm this for definite, as the club mag has a new Editor.....but will keep u all posted.
The club mag (STRAIGHT SIX) that my Article will be in should be September Issue, due out in the 1st week in Sept. AGAIN, TO BE CONFIRMED 100% AS CANT GET HOLD OF THE ED!!
The Article and accompanying photos have been sent to him though
This is a smaller, 1200-word article, and slightly different from the BMW CAR one
In Both articles I have tried to include at least one(if not 2) of each car at the meet, even the odd non-z4, but as said, I have NO CONTROL over what goes to final print...so don't be too upset if someone has their car in one or both articles and you don't...as some photos were of better quality than others, and this is what they sometimes go on.
I am Unfortunately missing any photos from Ste, despite a couple of requests, lol
; and he had some good ones of ppls cars/interesting angles, etc.
Anyway, I hope u all enjoy reading them when they are out
