Its taken a while but .........

The below link contains a spreadsheet containing a list of Z4 member approved indie garages. NOTE: these are based on individual forum member experiences at the time they used the service.

Simple to use

1. Click below link
2. Click Edit In Browser
3. Click on the area dropdown menu (cell C15) to chose your area
4. If there are multiple options change the number in cell C8 to the number on the list

Et Voila - Phone number, website, streetmaps info etc on screen. Most Streetmap and websites are hyperlinks that will take you straight to the page (some simple refuse to work so cout and paste to the browser.

Not quite how I wanted it to look but close :thumbsup:

NOTE: This also includes a number of Pistonheads member approved indies. My remove these if we can get more input from forum members :D

No problem. There are loads of other lines that need adding. Too much wine has been drunk to do it now hic

Open to ideas. Will get the servicing one sorted first then expand to other bits after.

I was thinking along the lines of driving roads too :thumbsup:

Are you aware of the similar information (although without the handy drop-down lists) at http://www.unixnerd.demon.co.uk/garages.html? (The comments on Hexagon make entertaining reading!)

Also, for those of use who only use Authorised Dealers, each of the BMW dealer's web sites now has feedback (stars and comments) for both Sales and Service.

NOTE : The file has been mildly pimped and the instructions to use amended. Let me know if it works OK.
 
Just a thought - this is sitting at the top of the dealer feedback section right now because it is new, but this should be a sticky for sure :thumbsup:

I think I'm being thick but can't find an option to edit the table. Had my Coupe's inspection 2 plus new front discs and pads fitted yesterday by D & T Wise in Bexleyheath and was impressed by the service.

Phoned up on Tuesday for a quote and had it booked in on Wednesday morning. Picked it up Wednesday afternoon. All good, no nasty surprises and a big saving over a dealer (inspection 2 was £280+VAT).

I know a few forum members are based down in SE London so give them a call if you need some work done and are sick of main dealer prices.

Please could someone less mentally-challenged add them to the database? :headbang:

I've been using Autotech ,Unit 6E/Lock La, Warwick CV34 5AG for the last three years for all service work on a Z3, the current Z4 and also our Series 1.
Maybe a little out of the way for you but I can thoroughly recommend.
