Well, I got to see Interstellar tonight. I loved it. Spectacular and thought provoking with some edge of the seat moments. Very long so you need a comfy cinema (or wait for the dvd) but well worth it. Space travel, Time travel, Alien Worlds, an more than a couple of nods to 2001: A Space Odyssey - what more could you want? 9/10

Looking forward to seeing "John Wick".
Getting some great reviews which is something not normally associated with a Keanu Reeves movie. Even 7.8 on the IMDB.

Watched quite a few recently on the long haul flights, but one that really stuck out was "Jersey Boys", the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Clint Eastwood directs really well, nice touches with the addressing to the camera, and of course some excellent music throughout. Only downsides for me was the Grease-like ending (well, it is based on a stage show), and Christopher Walken's mob boss was a bit too "Disney"

I'll give Jersey Boys a try as I've liked a lot of Clint Eastwood's directorial efforts.

We went to see The Imitation Game this week and was impressed with Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of Alan Turing. Having visited Bletchley Park some years ago the film had particular interest to me although I suspect there was a bit of artistic license involved. It was entertaining and interesting at the same time. Recommended 8/10

Just back from watching the last of The Hobbit trilogy really enjoyed it,but can't help feeling they could have made 2 fantastic movies instead of drawing it out to 3 :?

Totally agree, just been to see it tonight and enjoyed it as well but there was no need for 3 films. Saying that, unless Peter Jackson makes the other Tolkien books (eg. The Silmarillion) into films, the middle earth saga is now over...

Saw "The Equalizer" this week. Great old school action movie.
Yet another superb Denzel Washington movie. He knows how to pick 'em.
A 9/10 for me.

We watched "Chef" a couple of nights ago. Definitely worth it if you're a foodie! Fun to watch and while some circumstances might be a little too convenient if you're willing to suspend some belief it's very enjoyable. Decent acting by everyone too and did I mention already the food scenes? :D
