OK - this is a direct rip-off of something my father runs every year on a motorbike forum we both frequent.
The idea is simple and It's proved exceptionally popular over there, and I can't see why it wouldn't here!
Below is a list of 100 places dotted around the UK (and 10 bonus locations, which I'll come to later!), all of which are "car friendly" and are given with google map links for clarity.
All you have to do is try to visit as many of the places as possible throughout the coming year, take a photo of your car at / in front of the location , and post the results here.
The person who gets all 100 places (and 10 bonus locations) first, or the person with most points (see below for scoring) at the end of the year wins the competition!
To enter, simply "quote" the second post in this thread, which contains the list of locations into your own post.
Then, as you visit each location and get your picture, edit your post and insert the picture below the destination, and keep a running total of your score at the bottom!
(note, edit your original post, don't keep adding a new post each time!)

Obviously, this wouldn't be a challenge without a couple of rules, so here we go:
Scoring
The scoring is pretty simple!
There are 100 locations dotted around the UK.
Each of the 100 locations are split into geographical location groups.
10 points are awarded for each location you get a valid picture for.
50 additional points are awarded for each group you complete.
Bonus Locations
These ten bonus locations are slightly different!
They are not exact locations, but special locations for you to seek out on your own!
This year, the bonus locations are simply names of ten pubs!
All you need to do is find a pub with the exact name (It doesn't matter where it is!), then take a qualifying photo and post it with the name and location of the pub!
For each bonus location you complete, you will gain a bonus 20 POINTS towards your total.
If you get ALL of the bonus locations, you gain an additional 100 POINTS!

(Pictures taken from inside are fine, but the car must be parked - not moving!)
- The picture must be taken this year! (2015)
