Z4-forum annual meet?

ZEDFEST thread was here

There was quite a few of us hoping to convoy from Scotland. Is there more info on it yet - like a date for starters?

Do you have to be BMWCC member to attend ?

Anyone know the answer to this because I'm not a BMWCC member but was hoping to go.

To Clarify...the Z4-FORUM NATIONAL MEET is an entirely seperate thing from Zedfest.

This post is for the National Lakes/Dales meet,which myself and others will post more info on around Jan/Feb 2012. We usually have this on the 1st weekend in July (annually)..tho waiting to see it doesnt clash with zedfest,etc.

ZEDFEST 2012 is a one-off event ,which is being Organised by the BMW CARCLUB(GB),AS PART OF THEIR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS,and have been told u dont need to be a carclub member,as they are getting support from z-post forum also,to achieve their 500 zeds target.
I will clarify dates for this once Steve Miler has confirmed final date/place,etc. (keep an eye on ZEDFEST POST).

I doubt any1 has,Adam...as the Zedfest hasnt been done before,and the National meet just 2010 and 2011,lol.

It depends on wether u want to meet felow z4 fans from the forum,drive some fantastic roads,and have a great day/ weekend of driving/banter,etc. ....or take part in a BMW Carclub run event,which wil include other zeds,ie z1's,z3's,etc (around 500 planned/hoped for),doing a short drive,and a parade lap round Silverstone,or somewhere similar (possibly? )??

The trick seems to be a large weekend tent so they can stand up in it and a sleeping bag that'll keep you warm at the North Pole.
If this is early July It might just work out that I can attend for once.
