Z4 Folding Wing Mirrors

Considering the glass alone on the mirror costs $230 each, I'm not surprised it costs $1k for the auto-fold mirrors.

That's a good site. Reminds me of X5 world.

Well mirrors are off the menu at $1038 US prices I can reach out the window and fold it and for £10 a time bribe my wife can do the passenger side... :)

Sort of got my fix this evening by upgrading the X5 bluetooth ULF module to a Mk12 from a Mk3. Hope to get the MFSW buttons and B'berry better functioning with it.

EDIT
This digital when playing with the TV - If I'm right the OEM are opbsolete soon

Yep, digital. No point in analogue when the signal stops in about a years time. Also, the test car I had had the analogue TV and I never got a decent picture on that.

By the way - B'berry working fine on the X5 as well as the Z for me.

I'd rather have the auto-mirror-tilt then the auto-fold-mirrors. I wonder if it's less expensive.
I never found auto tilt all that useful. (not this car)
For some, I understand it, if your backing alongside of a curb often; ..very nice feature.

I really hated it backing into a parking spot between 2 cars though....
found it very disorienting to be pointed to the ground instead of seeing the side of the other car.
So, it ends up switched off.... might just as well not have it.

I have it on the X5 and find it useful to look down at the edge of kerbs or for obstructions, but do agree that the feature is disorienting when trying to reverse into a gap say between 2 parked cars or a garage entrance. I'm sure its standard but leaving the mirror adjuster set to the passenger mirror deactivates the function
