Z4 finally sourced!

Hi Folks

It's only taken me around a year but I've finally sourced a Z4 couple with the spec I was after. Dealer pics below - more to follow as well as spec details (it has pretty much everything). Any other Scotland based forum members out there?

Does anyone have any recommendations for cleaning and keeping the champagne interior clean? Keen to avoid a 'high shine' that you often see on some seats

I swear by Johnson's baby wipe,s for keeping leather clean. I don't have Champagne. But they work on our cream leather suit in the lounge and the black leather in the Z4 & my daily Mazda.

Hi and welcome to the form, as well as the much more exclusive Montego Blue Coupe club!

Mine also has 108 wheels, but I've got a Pearl Grey interior, which is very pale.

So far I've found that ordinary leather wipes once a month or so have been keeping my seats looking clean, and without any glossy look.

Just remember never to wear new jeans in your car!

I use Gliptone Liquid Leather Intensive Cleaner (GT12) and Leather Conditioner (GT11). The smell in the cabin afterwards is very leathery..a smell of quality. :wink:

It’s taken me a while, but here are some pics of the Z’d having given it a good clean and polish. Had some great drives so far and my son is appreciating the isofix in the front- only problem is convincing him to sit at the back of his mums Polo- not happy!

Next thing on the to do list is a good clean of the seats- have got some gliptone cleaner and conditioner on recommendation from earlier posts so will post more pics following this

I have beige leather in my X3 and it keeps it looking spotless with regular wipe overs
