decent ads with pics and service details generally attract very few comments on this forum.. write a poor ad or overprice it and you'll be into 3 pages in no time :D

Considering the e85 market conditions the e89 23i is somewhat of a bargain at the moment, will probably shift quickly on ebay but I don't see them moving quickly on the forum where it all seems to be about the 3.0si atm.. good luck with your sale

Spot on, the car is priced sensibly and looks good in the ads, will sell on eBay pretty quickly IMHO

I’ve just had a 28 day classified ad end. I was meant to have a viewing today but he decided he didn’t want to come, I’ll do another Ebay ad 👍

I didn't comment on the advert because I thought it looked like a good example at a reasonable price, so GLWTS.

That's some move, so I hope it goes smoothly. But I doubt if I'll see you at the Black Swan again!

More interested in your move :D

Kent to North Yorkshire

Where abouts? Just drove past that couple days back going up.north.

Not sure yet Paul, we have a week booked up there in a few weeks time so we will be looking for somewhere to rent initially until we find our feet and surroundings and then buy somewhere.

I guess your only issue here is the 23i is plentiful if you're looking for one so the mileage on this one may be a bit prohibitive to potential buyers.. an ebay auction may work better ifyou neeed to shift it, you do invariably run the risk of not getting your desired price though

I agree totally and there is room on the price which isn’t set in stone. Potential buyers are put off by the mileage even before seeing it. I just need to get someone here so they can see how great the condition is and how well it runs.

It’s a great place to live. We lived in Stokesly (small market town) and Hutton Rudby (commuter village for Teeside) both of which give easy access to Teeside and then had a few years in Thirsk where James Herriot was our vet. It depends on what you are looking for but there is sufficient choice to suit most tastes. Reluctantly we had to move because of jobs. But I would happily move back there although we are happily settled in Lincolnshire now. Good luck with your search.

This one has a few miles less, is £500 cheaper but I will not take this over Lynchies car - there is no comparison IMHO, what is on the headrest?

Thank you
We are very much looking forward to it but I do have a small list of wants, whether I get them only time will tell
