Z4 E89 Radio & PDC not working

Hi, I have a 59 plate E89 2.3i,
It may be a coincidence but after some very heavy rain my radio & PDC have both stopped working. The radio wont turn on at all & the PDS light
on the button goes on but there is no beeping nose to indicate that you are getting close to an object. I assume they are linked in some way but not sure how. I know a few mechanics but non of them BMW ones. Can someone please point me in the right direction ?

Sounds like water in the boot /amp area..have you looked?

No I haven't. wasn't sure where to start. Ill check it out. It must be water as its all working again this morning

Need to get to the bottom of it…water corrodes connectors and components so if it is water needs to be sorted before permanent damage

exactly.. will look for water ingress in the boot. if so then will need to workout how to seal it. lets find it first.. Thanks
