Z4 E86 Stormforce Cover

I have a brand new Stormforce all weather 4 layer cover for an Z4 E86 Coupe.(Still in original packaging.)
Purchased with a view to not using my Z4 all year but I’ve kept it on the road right through hence I’m selling the cover.
cover-zone.com where I purchased the cover are asking £218.91 delivered.
I would accept £120 delivered.
Thanks.

Genuine question: if I was first to offer the full asking price, but earlier lower offer amended as a result of the higher offer, then who's first in line?

I would suggest the first to offer the full asking price, however the OP might not realise that the earlier offer has been revised up.

OK, so without getting anyone's nose out of joint, I asked a lower price, but was first. I even PM'd 'Lance'. I saw your offer and revised mine.

Thanks Z4C_er, also don’t want this to become a tit-for-tat.

I think that as I was the first to make an offer at asking price, I should be considered the first in line. But I’m happy to be corrected by a mod if instead the priority goes to the first response regardless of that offer.

most respectful forum disagreement ever. well done guys! we dont have to be arseholes when we don't agree.

The rules say that he has to sell to the first person who offered asking so you should get it

The oracle has spoken

Although, I would think as I was the first to ask, I would have the right to reconsider and raise my price. Similar to, but not exactly like an auction.

My situation is that we are having renovations done on our house, and my Z4 is going to be 'outed' tomorrow for 3 months. I can't find a storage location, so as much as it irks me, it will have to sit outside. But I want it covered.

Buy at the full price. Use it for three months, and when you're finished, give [ref]FelipeFlop[/ref] first refusal at your initial offer price?

Unfortunately I don’t think that’s how the classified section of this forum works.
Plus, I’m pretty sure that if you’re outbid in an auction, that higher bid is the one given priority regardless of whether the first bidder matches it.

Why wouldn’t priority go to the first offer at the asking price rather than someone trying their hand?

I also have a genuine reason for purchase.

This thread is like the 'buses' scenario.

None come along for 2 weeks, then two come along at once.

And the best part is that the seller hasn't been on the forum since last Saturday....

There have been more "rules" broken by the seller, than either of the potential purchasers, I think. I did read the rules but got bored half way down.

How about organising an after-school fight to settle it? Worked in the old days.
