Z4 E86 SI sport coupe manual for sale 66,556 miles £8995

For sale is my 2007 Z4 E86 SI sport coupe - mine since May 2019.

Heated electric sports seats.
Manual gearbox.
Z4M wheels with Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres all round (plenty of tread).
Good service history - independent BMW specialists exclusively in my ownership.
Only just serviced a couple of weeks ago and had a brake fluid change at the same time.
Osram Nightbreaker headlight bulbs.
Headlight washer system.

It took us to the Black Forest, France and back via Jersey in 2019 and didn't miss a beat plus managed 38 mpg overall. Bodywork has marks commensurate with the age of the car. MoT'd until 15th September.

The price is the price - it's well placed given condition, history and extras - £8995.00

Located in the West Yorkshire area not too far from Holmfirth.

Looks like a nice example - don't think you can beat the 224's on an E86.

Did you swap the seats and door cards and wrap the dash or was it like that when you aquired it back in 2019?

Thank you - it is a nice car but sadly now underused, it needs someone new to love it. When we sailed from St Malo to Jersey the ferry staff put us in a 'special' queue with Ferraris, Aston Martins and a Mclaren instead of the one with the ordinary family cars. The coupes are definitely style on a budget!!

The dash was like that when I bought it and as far as I know the interior was spec'd like that from new, I've certainly not changed anything.

Couldn't agree more
There were only just over 2,000 coupes released in the UK and your one would have originally had Beige seats and door cards and an aluminium dash - if you follow the link and put in your VIN it will give you all the details GLWTS.

As others have said that is an absolute bargain even if the seats have been swapped.

I would wish you luck with the sale but I don't think you'll need it!

The car was a steal for anyone at £9k with 66k miles.

Just seems strange the OP couldn’t move it onto a forum member etc at 9k and yet the trader will no doubt have it sold at £13,490 within a week or two.

I think most people on the forum already have a Z4 of some genre. Unless your in the market for that particular car, it's quite a small market. Independent traders like Zac Luke use all mediums to advertise their cars, reaching a larger target audience. Ultimately, it's the sellers prerogative how and where they advertise their vehicles and which target audience they feel best suits their outcome.

You've also got a large number of people out there who simply wouldn't consider buying privately.

This reflects my own experience selling my coupe. No interest on the forum at all. I spent £80 on an autotrader ad and sold it for the asking price the first weekend with another viewer trying to gazump the first.
Forum members either have a car which they love (and therefore don’t want another) or they’re canny for a bargain.

What I can’t understand is that 8,995 is so cheap for a 66k coupe, why hasn’t it flushed out any canny bargain hunters?

I would have bought this but I couldn’t see past the mismatched interior.

I want to buy off a forum member and missed out of the car based in Fylde over the weekend.

Yeah that would put me off as well, I couldn’t deal with all the beige personally!

Yeah shame I would have been interested just a bit late to the party. Iv looked at the autotrader advert. Is that the going rate for an e86 with low mileage?

It seems to be from Zachary Luke, but from time to time you find an advert like this!
