Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to sell my beautiful E86 Coupe as biology has decided I now need more than 2 seats... so looking for a 330d currently
MOT set to expire June 3rd but Ive got it booked in for a fresh one at the beginning of May as well as a full service. (Maintaining its full service history which is all receipted for)
Current reg plate is private (Y29 RAK) however I plan to switch back to the original plates after its MOT (EA07 CCY)
Used as a daily driver however I've worked at home since COVID hence the 15k miles or so in 4 years
Located in Hull, Yorkshire.

I've owned this for around 4 years (bought at 130k miles) - loved owning this and still a joy to drive and look at, will miss dearly!
Under my ownership I've done the required maintenance + additional upgrades out of passion:
Water pump replaced, new starter motor, new window regulators on both sides, all pads & disks replaced, all struts & shocks replaced, 4 new Bridgestone Potenzas put on in Nov 22 so tyre condition excellent, Interior and reg plate LEDs, BMW OEM Aux fitted, BMW OEM cup holders on both sides, Bonnet badge replace OEM parts always.
Also includes the desirable M Sport Suspension, Steering Wheel, Leather seats & Spokes.

Interior and Exterior both in great condition however there is a slight chip on the boot lip (less than a cm) which I got quoted £150 to respray the panel and a crack in the leather of the drivers door where you usually place your elbow which tends to be common with a vehicle this age - I bought it with this defect initially. (Additional pictures located in the comments)

Please let me know of any interest

Has it got the subs behind the seats OP? Does it have Xenons?

Any more pictures especially of the damage?

Could you upload the service history?

Many Thanks

Ash

Looks a lovely example and a total bargain at £6k, world has gone mad!

Owen

Agree its a bargain - especially for the amount of car and joy :D
I've just tried to price reasonably v other examples on Autotrader (think theres a 133k miles one on for £6,750 or so)

Additional photos of the damage described in the original post:
1. The chip looks like it was caused by a branch - been on my to do list to repair but I was waiting for any other paintwork to correct at the same time to make a trip to the bodyshop worthwhile.
2. The crack in the leather armrest in the drivers door, I bought it with this defect, it hasnt bothered me to be honest!

Other images are of the service history booklet, as mentioned Im booked in for a MOT and full service this week so the records will be updated again to reflect this.
Theres also a huge wad of invoices to prove all service history and maintenance work done, happy to dig out each if required.

Thanks again

Just uploaded the required pictures in the comments on the original post - let me know if you want me to upload anything else

Thanks Rax,

I am very interested, I’ll wait and see the result of the next MOT & Service and we can maybe have a chat and go from there?

Thanks

Ash

Great, be in touch later in the week once done :D
Also need time put the original reg back on / get the new V5! Cheers.

With so much recent refresh work of all the usual suspects this has got to be a bargain.

Morning Everyone,

Just to update you all - MOT & Service is pushed back a day to Wednesday 10th May (Wife managed to take advantage of a hospital scan cancellation on the Tuesday so need the Zed)

Private plates have also been taken off so original reg is back on EA07 CCY

Thanks

Hiya, not sure if you get private messages or can send messages as you are classed as ‘newbie’ on here, I sent a message that’s all so if you could let me know if you recieved it or that you cannot respond etc

Morning all,

https://vimeo.com/824482547

Can you see if that link works please?

I had a guy come look at the car over the weekend - absolutely loved it until it came to pressing down the clutch where he was concerned about the ‘whine’
I said its been like that since ive owned it - doesnt affect the driving or gear changes - I just took it as part of the car! The noise hasnt changed or gotten louder at all, theres no crunch or clunk etc.
My garage mentioned it also a couple of years back & said to keep an eye on if it affects driving in which case we’d then diagnose & repair it however it literally hasn’t changed or affected it at all.
I’m not shy in repair work or maintenance as my receipts & the car proves!
I’m sort of stuck now in terms of what to do next & what is a fair price as I thought £6k was fairly priced for the work i’ve done. I’ll check with my garage on Wednesday for their thoughts but again I suspect its a case of ‘when it affects driving we’d advise diagnosing & repair’.

Would encourage your thoughts or offers as I’m torn now between keeping it & repairing it myself when it is time as opposed to selling at a massively reduced price for something that hasnt affected driving - I would have repaired it if it had.
