My steering wheel on my 3.0 Si E86 is looking like it could do with a refresh, the leather and plastics look a little tired.

That's an amazing price if legit. Check it comes with the multifunction controls. I bought mine from Germany a couple of years ago for around €650, which was a fairly good price then as the € was a lot weaker. I think they were around the £700 mark from BMW dealers here, however my understanding is that they are now NLA from BMW.

Worth a punt though on your credit card, no worries getting your money back. Or paypal as well I guess.

Edit: ah ok, it's not the 'M' wheel, doesn't have the tri-colour stitching. Still a decent price.
 
There is one listed on that site for the ///M 3.2 for €549, that probably has the tri stitching. Can't see why they're not the real deal. Mail them and ask.
 
Well Soper has come to the rescue and will deliver it for £504!

If all goes swimmingly with the MOT next month, one will be in order direct from Germany.

I remember the discussion when Rassi bought his. The thing that still confuses me with that site is why does it say from 04/05 only. Surely it fits all zeds and Real Oem makes no such distinction. :?

+1. A royals refurb and smarting up the trims yourself might be an option. It would certainly be far cheaper.
 
I did consider royal, however the plastics are looking tired as well and I wanted to replace those.

It will cost me £500 for the new wheel including plastics and buttons and I can sell my old wheel for £250 ish, so in reality it isn't much more to have a brand new one and I won't be without the car.
 
I can confirm this is legit, and in fact it is a German BMW dealer behind it. DHL tracking number and delivered in original un-opened box, sent out same day as ordered.
