That is greedy pricing. I bet they didn't give 50% of that for it.

But it makes this one look a real bargain!

Apparently they offered £11,000 for it according to the previous owner…

Somehow I find that hard to believe - they could have just bought this one!

Yes I think thats a tall tale. When I read their asking price for that E86 I contacted them for a price to buy my car albeit it’s a E85 but decent spec and a good bit lower mileage than their coupe. As expected their offer was laughable

Hi, just signed up as looking for an E86 and doing some research. This car looks interesting, and is not far as I'm in Dorking. Looked at sending a PM, but can't see the option so assume it's because I've just joined.

Excited to get looking at cars - the E86 seems a good fit for what I'm after, had been considering Boxsters but increasingly put of by the potential big bills.
Read some varied opinions on headroom - I'm 6'2", but from what I've read seems to be dependent on body / leg length, and legroom sometimes more of a limitation?

Not far from Dorking either so welcome to the region

You just made a small mistake as you are looking for an E85, not the E86 of course (especially if you looked at a Boxster the coupe makes no sense) :poke:

Coming back to height - the Boxster was very uncomfortable as you cannot move the seat due to that box right behind the seat, so the 911 would be the obvious choice for taller people (which is what I have). The E85 works for me as well though so should be ok for you. Can't remember if the Coupe is actually smaller inside though but that roof will always be a pain in the neck

Not to derail the thread but I'm 6'5 and it's a snug fit but not uncomfortable.
If you want to sit in one like others have offered I'm by Farnham if you are ever this way, welcome to sit in mine!

Happen to be interested in a p ex with my amazing twin turbo flying machine running on an lpg conversion?!?- Just in case…my Porsche cayenne TURBO running on an expensive BRC LPG system? Low (109ooo) miles and a long 12mth mot. Immaculate black with heated black front and rear leather.

I'm 6'2" with a fair amount of additional padding on my rear end. :D I thought I was as tall as anyone that could comfortably fit in a E86.

My seat was as far back as it would go and there wasn't a great deal of headroom.

The seats are a little narrower than modern cars for fat bottoms.

Glad to report that I did indeed fit with no problem, so now the new owner. Thanks for all the help & offers from everyone, and especially to Jack for the lovely car!

Excellent, enjoy, Stevep2000.
It was refreshing to see a genuine seller and genuine buyer, met via the forum and a deal was done. Perfect.
