Z4 E86 - 120k miles - £8.5k OTO

2006 (56 plate) BMW E86 Z4 3.0si coupe manual

The car is in Titan Silver with Oregon black leather heated sports seats and M-Sport leather steering wheel. I’ve owned the car for a year now, and had several great trips in the car and would love to keep it but as I’m saving for a house deposit I need to sell it as it’s not very practical. The car has had any work it needs and has had lots spent on it as is listed below. The car is fitted with an OEM Z4M front bumper and CSL replica 19” wheels and recent work has also been completed on the arches and doors removing rust and respraying the whole car as it was advised too hard to blend to the old paint. The car is also fitted with factory rear parking sensors and business sat Nav, an aftermarket bluemusic Bluetooth adapter has also been fitted. The air conditioning runs icy cold and works well in the summer heat. The car is on 122,000 miles however this may rise slightly and full service history and lots of invoices are included with the car
MOT until May 2024, tax £395 annually, 6 previous owners including myself.

Work within last 12 months
- Boot struts
- Top mounts
- Front & Rear brake pads
- Front wheel bearings
- Front radiator fan
- Starter Motor
- Expansion tank
- Full set of ignition plugs + spark plugs
- Drop links
- Full respray and rust repair on arches and doors
- Just had oil and filters service
- Inspection 2 and brake fluid change last autumn
- 12 months MOT

Good points
- Bodywork
- Engine & Gearbox
- New rear tyres (for asking price)
- Interior is in remarkable condition for the age and mileage

MOT until May 2024, last one advised on rear subframe and drop links and both drop links have been replaced and the subframe has been inspected by a specialist who wire brushed back and undersealed. The backing plates have since also been fixed as one had worked itself loose. The rear tyres are brand new and the fronts both have more than 5mm across the tread. The grease noted on the brake lines turned out to be the underseal (yeah I know).

Hopefully haven’t missed anything out but feel free to ask anything. The car drives spot on and pulls well through all the gears and I’ve always ran it on premium fuel and let it warm up gently. Visual inspection is advised and a pre purchase inspection can be arranged if requested.

Asking £8,500 but open to offers

Car is currently located in Cumbria however I also spend a lot of time in Warrington area so can equally arrange the car to be there

To aid your sale you might want to post lots of pics of the bodywork, wheels and interior. Road tax is now £395

…X2
Respectfully, joining the Forum to sell your e86 is great & awesomely fine
However, as a Forum - could I suggest that you kindly add more info (photo images / detailed Service History, etc) - for other fellow enthusiasts to wish to enquire and buy the car.

Best of luck with the sale :driving:

What extra service history would you suggest in the listing other than the work carried out in the last 12 months and that it has full service history?

Personally  , I would list every service stamp from the PDi to the latest service.
Completed by whom; Date when; at what Mileage; What was done (oil change; Insp 1; Insp 2; brake fluid change etc).

That will paint a picture, for any prospective purchaser :driving:

Best of luck with the sale

With all due respect, it's an 8.5k car, the full service history really isn't that important. People get WAY too hung up on that stuff, these engines are bombproof
