Double check it's the correct one. I believe facelift ones had the hump at the back but pre-facelift didn't?

Same part number for all models, but just checked my pics. Hump for the N52, no hump for the M54.

HI Zedebee, many thanks for the heads up I just assumed they’d be the same for all models.

Sorry Barry, I’ll have to leave this for the time being as I’m not sure it will fit correctly on my M5

Ok …checked Facelift against Preface.
A Facelift will fit a Preface but not the other way round so this one being a Facelift will fit obviously a Facelift and a Preface
The facelift cars have a hump in the metal work of which the Preface it’s flat
