Car has just failed MOT on airbag light. Looks like it is the passenger occupancy sensor. Looking for a cheap passenger seat to get through the MOT and then sort out a new occupancy mat. Did try an emulator but didn’t work
For £40 you could get this by 1pm tomorrow if you're quick, then properly diagnose and reset the airbag yourself...

I will just say it seems strange that the garage couldn't clear the airbag fault.
When I was playing with seats and had a faulty emulator that didn't work I could still clear the fault but it would come back if I drove anywhere.
I bought another emulator which did work and the airbag light obviously stayed off.
After a visit to Zed Shed in Newton Le Willows, problem identified in less than 15 minutes, a crack in the clock spring, secondhand replacement fitted and airbag light removed. Once again, can’t praise Mike enough, always the go to guy for my Z4
