For sale are my GAZ Gold coilovers, these were specialy made as a one off from GAZ, these are £900 worth of coilovers, all shockers have adjustable dampening

I have recently purchased some Spax RSX coilovers as I wanted to go lower than this kit could offer so these are for sale, this kit will not seriously lower the car at the front!

They are in good used condition, a little bit of surface corrosion on the shocker bodies & front springs, rear springs are a little more corroded as seen in the pictures

All adjusters are free & move easily, they were never greased up & with a quick clean they are easily moved

I believe the rear shockers were leaking, one was only slightly weeping though. Before I cleaned them for the pictures they didnt look bad & now they are clean i have moved the piston in & out a few times & there does not seem to be any fluid coming out. Both shockers still have pressure against them when moving them up or down. I did speak to GAZ direct & they said each shocker could be serviced for £23.5 plus VAT each.

As I wanted to go lower I however did not get them serviced & offering them for sale on here before I put them on ebay

heres a few pics of the coilovers

Hi, please see this link as it shows a few pictures of the drop. I dont know exact figures, but the back can go very low (enough that the tyres will sit under the arches) but the fronts will only go as low as they are in the picture on the link

Im not exactly sure on their age. I got them second hand in may last year & were taken off a week ago. The person I got them from said they had only been on his car since the previous June so if what he said is true then they are just over 18 months old

Cant believe you haven't sold these yet, I've just bought a brand new set of Gaz Golds for my track E36. Its not just about lows, they work well with soft dampening for the road and stiffen it up if you ever get on track.

If any one tracks the Z4 buy these, service them and enjoy!

Don't worry i'm not on commision and I don't work for Gaz

Here are the ones I bought:

Also did you have to space out your wheels to avoid rubbing? Or is that an E36 problem:

yea i cant understand either! will be going on ebay so hopefully appeal to a few more people who dont use the forum.

No there are no problems with rubbing at all! I think its just an E36 problem as my bro is having problems with different alloys on his coupe fitted with cheapy coilovers. The adjusters hit the tyre like yours!
