Hi,
looking for advice from E85 roadster owners running coilovers on a road car.
Have an 04 3.0i with a broken rear spring, while getting that sorted I like the thought of refreshing the suspension. The shocks have approximately 70k worth of use so the two options I'm considering are
a. new OEM shocks + springs
b. Full dampening + height adjustable coilovers by a reputable brand (KW, Bilstein etc)
Without taking cost into consideration is there any downsides to the coilovers over the OEM setup. The Z4 is quite a rattly car so I don't really want a much firmer ride.
I've discounted something like the Koni sport kit due to not wanting to lower the ride height far from the stock height.
Currently I don't have any track plans for the car but I'm always open to the idea of a few trackdays a year.
Thanks all.
