Welcome back zedwheels and congratulations. Would be very interested in what you paid and seeing some more pictures if you are happy to. Particularly interior colours and condition. Perhaps PM me if you prefer.
I would have travelled and probably purchased this car if the answers and pictures I requested were forthcoming. Sadly I have had several long wasted journeys to view “immaculate” cars previously and I just don’t have the time or inclination to make this mistake again and I was given no confidence to travel for your one. So I hope it’s great and you’re happy with it.

Anyway this is my wanted thread (not the for sale thread on your car) and I’m still on the lookout. So if anyone knows of a good blue 3.0si sport manual roadster please let me know.

I only picked my one up recently and am in the process of restoring it. They are quite rare in this colour. Look forward to seeing more of your new motor

Thanks, yes I have.
Montego couldn’t be further away from me, plus I don’t like the interior or wheels at all.
I tried the owner of the black one a couple of times on Thursday and left a voicemail, nothing back so will try again today.

Do you mean if someone does not respond to a call/ email immediately or within the day?

I see that’s fair, I thought you meant an immediate answer which is not always possible hence asking

Sadly quite common it seems, which is silly as even if you don’t go for a premium tyre mid range are not much more than a budget

No Richard, i decided to sell it to a true enthusiast who travelled a few hours to view the car and trust my honest appraisal, instead of being bombarded with questions and photo requests he just picked the phone up and we chatted cars, it's a great starting point. Even now your asking the new owner for him to disclose what he paid and asking him to send photos of the car that's already sold, you really need to change your approach, expectations and budget if you crave an immaculate 16 year old car that fills your criteria.

Selling/ buying cars is always interesting, everyone approaches it so different!

Buying cars of this age is difficult as the condition can vary massively and everyone’s opinion on what constitutes good condition also varies hugely!
