Z4 E85, 3.0i vs 3.0 si

Occasionally I get a tapping noise which I'm assuming is a HVA issue but only when the car has been stood for a few weeks. It usually clears within a couple of minutes of running the engine. When used regularly it never occurs. :thumbsup:
 
My engine is more tappity when cold, disappears when the revs drop back so I assumed it is just a characteristic of the engine & auto-choke :?

Hey Alex, go visit Bing & have a go in his Auto. You'd be hard pressed to find a higher spec'd car & he might even offer you a Scottish price if you bring along some 'Scottish water' to seal the deal
 
All engines are pretty reliable, as said.....so as always, go by condition/servicing done at right times and spec you want and you shouldn't go wrong with any 3.0i....imo the best all-round z4 ( if you cant justify the M's added costs) :D
